About Me

On the left you can see the stalwart Mr. Jake, my family dog. He is excellent at hunting, and has taken down many rabbits, quail, lizards, and once, a deer. On the right you see my sweet baby Lola (aka Miss Lola aka Lolo aka Sleepy Lo). She has similar prey-related inclinations (she once caught a chipmunk) but she gets fewer opportunities because she has always been a city dog (rescued in Miami, adopted in Toronto, and now living Upstate NY). I find this mildly distressing because I am a vegetarian, and in fact was raised vegetarian, so I have never eaten meat.
